Where is Fuji-Q Highland?
Fuji-Q Highland is located in Yamanashi Prefecture, near Lake Kawaguchi which is the northern part of Mt Fuji. It takes around 1.5-2hrs from Tokyo and 9-10hrs from Osaka.
How to get to Fuji-Q Highland?
Fuji-Q Highland is a short walk from Fujikyu Highland Station.
- With Express trains: It runs from JR Shinjuku Station to JR Otsuki Station on the JR Chuo Line. Change train from Fuji Kyuko Line for Fujikyu Highland Station.
- With Express Bus: Another option is to take a bus from Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal to Fuji-Q Highland, travel time is more or less two hours.

Rides and Attractions in Fuji-Q Highland
Fuji-Q Highland is famous for its large roller coasters. It’s filled with record-breaking rides and attractions.
- Fujiyama is the tallest and fastest roller coaster, this ride gives you a view of Mt. Fuji.
- Dodonpa is the world’s fastest-accelerating roller coaster, and it shouldn’t be missed if you want a thrill.
- Takabisha begins with a slow climb to the top then plunge with drop angle of 121°.
- Eejanaika is a roller coaster with rotating seats. This ride will definitely get you dizzy, as the seats can rotate 360°, and you’ll go through 14 inversions.
There are attractions for children such as Thomas Land with Thomas The Tank Engine, and also several indoor and outdoor attractions suitable for the whole family.
