T his photo of "The Shrine in the Sea" and "The Atomic Bomb Dome" are well known because both are part of World Heritage site, but less people know where they are located and what other tourist spots they have.

So Let us introduce Hiroshima for you to familiarize and include it in the itinerary of your next trip. 

Where is Hiroshima? 

Hiroshima Prefecture is located in Chugoku Reason, between Osaka and Fukuoka, therefore it's a good destination to have a day trip from both city. You can access Hiroshima from both Osaka and Fukuoka with Shinkansen (Bullet Train).

 

Must Place to Visit in Hiroshima 

Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park

When you exit from JR Hiroshima Station, This cute local train welcomes you. Hiroshima City still has The Hiroshima Electric Railway, "called Hiroden" runs on the road. You can feel the old time of Japan, makes us nostalgic.

To get to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, take Hiroden for 15mins and get off at "Genbaku-Domu Mae" station.

 

Hiroshima Peace Memorial is a huge park over 120,000 square meters where "Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum", "The Atomic Bomb Dome" and "Children's peace monument" are being located.

This place exists as a symbol of the tragedy happened during the time of atomic bombing and appeals the importance of permanent peace and abolition of nuclear weapons in the world.

 

There is a new site called "Hiroshima Orizuru Tower", which is located on the east side of the Atomic Bomb Dome. The rooftop observation deck provides panoramic views of Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Hiroshima City.
