What is a Yukata?
A Yukata is a Japanese garment, a summer Kimono usually made of cotton and commonly use as a traditional summer wear. Yukatas are also worn as bathrobes in ryokans.
Difference between Yukata and Kimono?
- A Yukata is a Japanese garment, a summer Kimono usually made of cotton and commonly use as a traditional summer wear. Yukatas are also worn as bathrobes in ryokans.
- A Kimono is the national dress of Japan. It is mostly wear to formal occasions such as wedding, funeral, graduation ceremony and national holidays of Japan for Shichi-Go-San and CominG of Age Cermony.

STEP 1: REGISTRATION
Upon arrival at the shop, there will be a registration , choosing your plan and payment. They will also explain about rental system. Rental starts from 10:00 - 17:00.
STEP 2: SELECT YUKATA
You can select your Yukata according to which style you want.
Here are the Yukata Plan Options:
- ALL INCLUSIVE YUKATA SET FOR WOMEN
This includes Kimono,undergarment,Obi bag,sandal,tabi,chemise, hair set and ornamental hairpin. - KIMONO SET FOR WOMAN
This includes Kimono,undergarment,Obi bag,sandal,tabi, chemise and sandal - YUKATA FOR MEN
This includes yukata, undergarment obi bag and sandal
STEP 3: HAIR SET
this option is only applicable if you chose the ALL INCLUSIVE YUKATA SET. Their professional hair stylist will style your hair.
STEP 4: PHOTO OPS INSIDE THE SHOP
You can have a photo op inside the shop before proceeding to your destination.
STEP 5: EXPLORE KAMAKURA
There are a lot of places that you should see in Kamakura. Most of popular places are within 10 minutes the shop. You can take a stroll in Yukata around Tsurugaokahachimangu, Komachi-dori street ,Wakamiya-Oji street and station of Enoden Line.
STEP 6: RETURN THE YUKATA
You can return the Yukata before 5 PM. If you failed to return it, there will be an additional charge that cost 1000 YEN per night.
